Arrives as Shown

Your bowl lotus tuber will arrive just as pictured – intact and ready for planting.
To preserve its viability during transit, we vacuum-seal each tuber to reduce moisture loss and prevent decay.
It can be stored for up to 1 month in a cool, dry, and shaded environment before planting.
For best results, plant as soon as possible after arrival.
How to choose the pot?

Planting Guide

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
– A sturdy container or lotus pot
– Loose, loamy soil
– One healthy lotus rhizome (tuber)
– Clean water

Step 2: Position the Rhizome
- If your pot is deep, add a 1–2 inch (2.5–5 cm) soil base first.
- Gently lay the rhizome flat, buds pointing upward.
- Aim for a planting depth of about 2–3 inches (5–7 cm)—not too deep, not too shallow. Smaller, weaker rhizomes can sit a bit higher.
Planting Guide

Step 3: Cover with Soil
– Lightly mound about 2 inches (5 cm) of soil over the tuber.
Too little soil and watering will wash it out; too much and sprouts struggle.

Step 4: Fill with Water
– Slowly pour water down the inside wall of the pot.
– Use your hand or a small tray underneath to soften the flow and avoid disturbing the rhizome.

Step 5: Find the Perfect Spot
– Move your pot into bright, indirect sunlight.
– Leave it undisturbed until you see shoots break the surface.
– Top up the water as it evaporates, but don’t replace it entirely.

Step 6: Ongoing Care
- Keep it sunny—lotus love at least 6 hours of light daily.
- Let the first floating leaves sit on the water surface; don’t let them hang over the rim.
- After 4–5 true leaves appear, start a slow-release fertilizer.
- Feed every 2–3 weeks, and maintain water level—never fully drain or swap out.
- Snip off any yellowing leaves right at the base.
Follow these steps and in a few weeks you’ll have vigorous lotus growth ready for full sun and blooms!
The packaging was surprisingly good. Rhizome arrived super fresh.
Even though you sent me the wrong color, it’s not bad… but I don’t want a discount. I want the purple bowl lotus 😠
My kids thought it was fake because it looked too perfect.
I’ve tried seeds before, this rhizome is way easier.
I used an old salad bowl, still worked perfectly.
