Product Questions

ARE YOUR SEEDS TREATED?

Some of our seeds are coated with a fungicidal treatment to protect them from pests and diseases during seeding and germination.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS HEIRLOOM/HYBRID/ORGANIC?

We offer Heirloom, Open Pollinated, Hybrid, and Organic seeds on our site. We do not sell any GMO products. Heirloom seeds are clearly labeled as “Heirloom” in the product title or description and can be found under the Heirloom menu. Any seed not marked as “Heirloom” is an open pollinated variety. Hybrid varieties are noted in the Fast Facts section of each product, and Organic varieties are clearly indicated in the title (e.g., Spinach (Organic) vs. Spinach).

HOW SHOULD I STORE UNUSED SEED?

To properly store unused seeds, keep them in a sealed plastic bag or container to protect from insects, and place them in a cool, dark, and dry location to prevent premature germination and decay. Avoid storing seeds in the refrigerator. While we recommend ordering seeds for the season you plan to plant, leftover seeds can be stored for the next season with good results. With proper storage, our seeds typically lose less than 5% viability per year.

WHEN WILL MY WILDFLOWERS BLOOM?

The bloom time of our wildflowers depends on your region and specific conditions. Our mixes include a variety of species that bloom at different times, ensuring a long season of color. Most wildflowers bloom in Spring and Summer, with some varieties continuing into Fall.

Remember, perennial wildflowers won’t bloom the first season. They need one growing cycle to establish themselves and will bloom the following year after winter dormancy. Annual wildflowers, however, will bloom in the first season.

CAN I HAVE MY BULBS SHIPPED OUT OF SEASON?

No, we do not ship bulbs out of season. You can order Spring or Fall-planted bulbs year-round, but they are only shipped during their designated seasons.

WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER RECEIVING MY BULBS?

Upon receiving your bulbs or perennial roots, we recommend unpacking and planting them as soon as possible, as they are perishable. If you need to store them before planting, keep them in a dark, cool, and dry place. Most bulbs do not need refrigeration (except Lilies and Peony roots), but exposure to moisture, heat, and light should be minimized.

Shipping Questions

HOW DO YOU SHIP?

We ship seeds and bulbs via the U.S. Postal Service. Seed orders are processed within 2-5 business days before shipping, while bulbs ship according to your growing zone (check the zone shipping schedule here). Once shipped, delivery typically takes 4-7 days.Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

For larger or heavier orders, we use FedEx. If your address requires a specific shipping method, please email Contact@Rosesu.com, and we’ll adjust accordingly or provide alternative options.

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order leaves our warehouse. This will confirm the shipping method and provide an estimated delivery date.

DO YOU OFFER INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ?

We do offer international shipping. However, due to the nature of our products, there are very strict regulations and fees for exporting, and we can only ship to certain countries at this time.

WHY IS MY ORDER IN SEPARATE SHIPMENTS?

Seeds ship year-round to all USDA zones, while bulbs and perennials are only available seasonally.

If your order includes both seeds and bulb/perennial products, it will likely be split into two shipments, each with a separate tracking number. Seeds are dispatched within the timeframe outlined in our Shipping Policy, while bulbs ship according to your growing zone and the appropriate season.
